QuickCurate

Help & support

The questions sellers ask, answered from how the app works. Not here? Write to us at the bottom; a person reads every message, and replies come from support@quickcurate.com.

Getting started

▸How do I sign in?

On quickcurate.com, enter your email on the sign-in page and open the link we send; there is no password. If you installed QuickCurate from the Shopify App Store, there is no sign-in at all: the app opens inside your Shopify admin and your store is the account.

▸What can I upload?

PNG, JPEG, WebP and SVG, one file or a whole folder at a time (Add files… and Add folder… in the review queue). Exports from Midjourney or Leonardo work especially well because the filename carries the prompt, which the copywriter reads. Pick the product type first (wall art, clipart, Frame TV art, PNG design, mug, ornament) because it decides the print files and the listing images.

▸What happens after I upload?

Each image goes through two AI passes: a judge that scores quality, sorts it into a lane and flags takedown risks (trademarks, famous characters, real people), and a copywriter that writes the title, description and tags. Allow a few minutes per batch; images run in parallel. Exact duplicates of something already in your library are skipped and near-duplicates are held for you to decide. Only work worth your eyes lands in the queue.

▸What counts as a curation?

One image through both passes. That is the only thing metered. Re-renders, background changes, approvals, packs and duplicates held at upload cost nothing.

Drafts and approvals

▸What does Approve do?

It renders the listing images and the product video, prepares the print files for the product type, and creates a draft in every shop ticked under Publish to. QuickCurate never publishes. You publish from your own shop, when you are ready.

▸Where is my draft?

Shopify: Products, with the status Draft. Etsy: Shop Manager → Listings → Drafts. Allow four to five minutes after approving: the listing images, print files and video render first. The queue shows “drafted” on the row once it is there.

▸Can I change the copy or the images?

Yes, both ways. Edit the title, description and tags in the queue before approving, or in your shop afterwards. Re-render regenerates the listing images with a different background treatment (keep the original, white key, or AI subject removal). None of that uses a curation.

▸Why was an image held or rejected?

The judge holds near-duplicates of something you already have and rejects images below the quality bar you set with “Auto-reject quality below” (off by default). Held and rejected rows stay in the queue with the reason, and you can approve them anyway.

Packs

▸What is a pack?

A single digital-download product that contains several of your images, with its own hero image, listing images and a buyer’s guide. Tick approved designs in the queue (the number on each tick is its place in the hero grid); a bar appears with the price, set by the pack ladder. Leave the title blank and the copywriter names it, or type your own, then click Build pack. The Packs page lists every pack you have built. A pack is an ordinary product in your shop; it does not group existing Shopify products together.

Billing

▸What does the free trial include?

40 curations, one-time, with approvals and drafts open. A new account starts with 5 and unlocks the rest when you connect your Etsy shop or Shopify store; one trial per person and per shop. Whatever you do not use carries over as credits when you upgrade.

▸What do the plans cost?
  • Curator: $19 a month for 150 curations per billing period.
  • Studio: $39 a month for 500 curations per billing period.
  • Museum: $69 a month for 1,000 curations per billing period.
  • Credit pack: $10 for 50curations that never expire, spent only after the plan’s own allowance.
▸What happens when I run out of curations?

Nothing is lost. Uploads past the allowance wait in the queue and analyze on their own when the next period starts or when you add curations; the Resume button releases them sooner.

▸How am I billed, and how do I cancel?

If you installed from the Shopify App Store, every charge is a Shopify app charge: you approve it in your Shopify admin and it appears on your Shopify invoice. Cancel at period end and Keep my plan are on the Settings page. Everyone else pays by card through Stripe; Manage billing on Settings opens the Stripe portal, where you can change the card, download invoices or cancel. A cancelled plan keeps its curations until the period ends.

Shopify app

▸How do I install the Shopify app?

From the QuickCurate listing in the Shopify App Store, or from the “Install from Shopify” link on Settings, which opens Shopify’s own store picker. The app then opens inside your admin with no sign-in.

▸What does uninstalling do?

It cancels any active app subscription, removes the store’s connection and stops the app from creating drafts. Drafts already in your store stay there; they are your products. If you install again, the same account comes back.

Etsy

▸How do I connect Etsy?

Connect Etsy on the review queue or on Settings. Etsy asks you to approve the connection on its own page, then sends you back. Drafts then land in your shop’s Listings → Drafts.

▸What about Etsy's AI-content question and listing fee?

Etsy asks whether a listing was made with AI in its own listing editor, and gives apps no way to answer it for you; that is one reason QuickCurate only makes drafts. You answer it when you publish. Etsy’s $0.20 listing fee is charged by Etsy to your shop when you publish, never by us.

Account and data

▸How do I disconnect a shop or delete my account?

Both are on Settings. Disconnecting a shop removes its access tokens and, for a Shopify-billed account, cancels the subscription first. Deleting the account removes your files and anonymizes the record; listings already in your shops are untouched.

▸What happens to a free account I stop using?

A Gallery account unused for 90 days has its working files cleared: uploaded originals, print files, mockups and videos. We email you at least 14 days before, and signing in resets the clock. Paid plans keep everything. The privacy policy has the full picture.
